Developer Tenorshare has a couple of video conversion utilities to offer: a free and a paid one. The free version is appropriately named Tenorshare Free Video Converter. The nice thing about this application, besides the fact that it is free, is the fact that it provides support for lots of formats. This means you can use it to convert a variety of videos. Pretty much any video you have can be converted to another format.

The system requirements for running Tenorshare Free Video Converter are: 1GHZ processor or better, at least 256MB of RAM (512MB or more recommended), 50MB of free disk space, Super VGA (800×600) resolution 16-bit graphics card or higher, Windows operating system (XP SP2 or newer).

Instructions on how to use the converter are clearly presented on the application’s interface. As expected, using Tenorshare Free Video Converter is a simple 3-step process: import videos, pick an output format, start the conversion process.

All the videos you import into the application are presented as a list on the left hand side. It must be mentioned here that numerous video, DVD, and audio formats are supported for the import function – IFO, ISO, MPG, AVI, MP3, WMA, and more. Numerous formats are supported for the output as well. These formats are conveniently grouped into several categories: Common Video, Common Audio, PowerPoint, and more.

Before launching the conversion process, you can view the videos you loaded into Tenorshare Free Video Converter. A built-in player is presented on the right hand side of the application’s interface.
To launch the conversion process just click the large Start button from the lower right hand side of the interface.

As mentioned above, there’s a free and a paid version. The paid Tenorshare Video Converter has a bit of extra functionality to offer: edit video effect, add watermark, crop video, clip segment, split by time/file size, set start and end time.

If you need an efficient, fast, and easy to use tool to convert videos, you won’t go wrong by using Tenorshare Free Video Converter.

Pros

The system requirements for running Tenorshare Free Video Converter are quite low. Instructions on how to use the application are clearly presented on the interface. Numerous media formats are supported for the import and output. There’s a built-in player. The application is freeware.

Cons

None that I could think of.
